Getting to Know Nick
Nick Vas
Nick has played guitar for over 25 years and has come from a praise and worship background. Mostly playing music for his church groups at various churches such as St. Thomas Moore Parish in Bowling Green, St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Patricks of Heatherdowns, and Corpus Christi.
For the past year and a half, Nick has played lead guitar for the band "Lucky Penny" all over Toledo at places such as Cabo Cantina, Frontera, Cinco De Mayo, Tequila's, Anchor Inn, and The Sandpiper!
Why the name "Don't Fret?"
I wanted a name that reflected my attitude of not worrying about life being so hard and serious. I want my audience to just relax and enjoy some music with friends and family. Even if it's for just a few hours and few drinks...I wanted to convey that you can come out and just enjoy my fingers dancing around the fretboard of the guitar. My goal is to transfer my love and passion for music to my audience and to remind them.... Don't Fret!
